My DM Status is Now Official
I apologize for the lack of updates, but I have been preparing for the 4E game that I am going to run this Sunday. I did take the time, however, to take the Herald level test on the RPGA website. My DM status is now official...

What books are covered? How well does the test-taker need to know them? The Herald-Level GM page on the WoTC website hasn't been updated since 2003.
Every question that I was asked was from the PH, MM or DMG. The test consists of 20 questions out of a test bed of 72 I believe. You have to get 85% of the questions correct to pass. You have 60 minutes to take the test.
A good knowledge of the books is certainly helpful, but there is nothing to keep you from referencing the books during the test...
You just have to take the test on the RPGA portion of the WotC website. I assume you can sign up to join the RPGA there too. There is no fee that I am aware of.

Congrats! I've always wanted to take this test but have my own hesitations.
How did you apply for this? Did you have to go through a game store for it? Are there any DMing duties that you have to perform?
